Stars from ABC's "Nashville" to join me on stage!

Do I need to tell you how jazzed I am about this Saturday's show at the Soulshine Pizza Factory in Nashville? If you've been watching my facebook posts this week, then you've watched it all unfold.

For you that haven't been looking at my facebook page, let me catch you up to speed. Last month I was asked if I would like to do a show here in Nashville. The gal that asked me this is the Production Supervisor for ABC's "Nashville". I was intriqued until she told me she would pack the joint with members of the show's cast and crew. I told her that sounded like a wonderfully frightning experience and I would have to pass on it. A couple days later I flew to California.

I was riding my motorcycle from the northern Sierra's down to Los Angeles, thinking about the offer. First I thought maybe I'd hire another guitarist and we could do the show as a duo. Then I thought why not see if I could get my studio guys together and really do it up right.

I made a couple phone calls, and next thing you know I had a band. I let my producer friend know what I was planning, and a couple days later flew home to St. Thomas for a few days before returning to Nashville.

When I arrived here in Nashville and got myself set up in her spare room she told me that a crew member had just been diagnosed with terminal cancer. She asked if I would think about taking my show and making it a fund raiser for the crew member and his family, I thought it was a great idea!

Over the past two days, one at a time, some of the cast members from the television series let us know they would like to help out by performing at my show! goes...

Performing with me at the Soulshine Pizza Factory on Division Street in Nashville this Saturday October 26th starting around 5:00 pm will be Charles Esten (Deacon Claybourne), Chris Carmack (Will Lexington), Jonathon Jackson (Avery Barkley), and for us guys... Clare Bowen (Scarlett O'Connor)!!!

So, NOW do you see why I'm so jazzed? I know, right?

It is a fund raiser, so we are requesting a $20 donation at the door. 100% of the money raised will go to the crew members family. I'm not mentioning his name  in this blog out of respect for the family's privacy.

We will start  around 5:00 and keep everything going until about 7:00. This event is open to the public, and families are welcome.

Be sure to stick around afterwards. The Midnight Riders take the stage from 9:00 until closing!!!

Oh! I almost forgot! I'll be debuting four new songs from my next album. Come get a sneek peek!!!
